Ruddock

Ruddock is the first episode of Remy. It aired May 23rd 2020.

Summary

Remy and Taysom go to the nearby ghost town of Ruddock.

Plot

While on a Face Time call with Leo, he asks why Remy is grounded and Remy explains.

Taysom asks Remy if it would be cool if they saw a ghost town and Remy agrees to do it on Saturday.

Remy asks his father if they can go to Ruddock on his airboat (Remy's father is paying bills and not listening) and he is granted permission and requested to return before dark.

Remy and Taysom head on the airboat heading towards Ruddock (mostly following the I-55 bridge). Remy also takes pictures of the town and Old U.S. 51 on his phone. They also have a picnic that consisted of food Taysom bought at Wendy's.

Before dark, Remy and Taysom start heading back home. On the way back, the airboat runs out of gas and Remy realizes that he dosen't have the fuel can and it is now dark. Both boys try to call 911 but are unable to get a signal. This leads to them praying that someone will come and eventually someone does.

Remy is grounded by his father and has his airboat taken away from him. Finally, Remy's father comes in to say that he forgot to take away his phone and takes it from him, hanging up Leo and ending the episode.
